Ferdinand Homrich und Sohn Modell II

2010-12

This sculpture has come a long way. From a dark- room in eastern German in the 80s, where Vesko Gösel developed his photographs and used it as a cabinet for drying strips of photo- graphic film, to his studio in Cologne in 2010, where he first started to transform this apparatus. The piece seems to refer to its own and the artist’s history. It presents the third version of this sculpture hung on strips of 35 mm film material.
